Design-oriented geotechnical surveys
Stage 1: DESIGN SURVEY (G2) - PRE-PROJECT STAGE
We offer investigation programmes with survey methods and levels that are appropriately suited for your project (loads, earthwork, area of ground occupied, etc.), and adapted to local geological conditions.
To this aim, we design a detailed geotechnical model that enables us to fine-tune the conditions for the foundation work (based on pre-dimensioning), and for associated construction work (earthwork, retainment structures, sheltering from water, ground stabilisation, ground improvement, etc.).
This ensures significant reduction of major geological risks identified during the pre-project stage.
Stage 2: DESIGN-ORIENTED GEOTECHNICAL SURVEY - PROJECT STAGE (G2 PRO)
Your project is now well laid out.
With the assistance from your Project Manager, you have selected the operating mode(s) that best suits your project and the site (several solutions were offered during the G2 pre-project stage).
The subsequent stage involves pre-dimensioning all the associated geotechnical structures and works (foundations, ground slabs, earthwork, retainment structures, sheltering from water, road system, basins, etc.), and providing you with technical data on the execution methods and related threshold values.
During this stage, we also specify the follow-up and quality control measures necessary for successful completion.
DESIGN-ORIENTED GEOTECHNICAL SURVEY - BID SELECTION ASSISTANCE (DCE/ACT)
Finally, we can also assist you as a developer in technically analysing the bids and selecting the contractors that provide specific geotechnical structures and works, such as diaphragm walls, nailed walls, soil improvement with gravel columns or rigid inclusions, excavation and filling earthwork.
